Revolusi atau sesuatu perubahan yang ingin kita laksanakan, jika berlaku tanpa ilmu dan tanpa adab, tidak akan mampu mencapai kejayaan yang hakiki. Za‘ba sebagai tokoh pembaharu masyarakat tidak berminat untuk membicarakan masalah sifat dua puluh, rukun Iman, rukun Islam, hukum fiqah, soal muamalat, soal munakahat, haram halal, sah, batal, wajib, sunat, tasawuf dan sebagainya. Namun tokoh ini memilih untuk menyentuh perihal akhlak, budi pekerti serta pendidikan orang Melayu. Beliau begitu cermat memilih tema penulisannya dan hanya berbicara tentang perkara-perkara yang membangkitkan kemajuan bangsanya sahaja tanpa memperincikan perkara yang berunsur picisan. Buku ini merupakan himpunan penulisan yang terinspirasi oleh pemikiran Pendeta Za’ba hasil karya sahabat Komuniti Jejak Tarbiah. |
