The author was born in Thal Austria, in 1947, served as governor of California from 2003-2011, was Mr. Universe at age 21, and had a long film career, winning a Golden Globe award. In addition, his first book, Arnold: the Education of a Bodybuilder was a bestseller in 1977, and along with his Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding has never been out of print since. This memoir by the bodybuilder, actor, and former governor of California traces his journey to the United States and rise from Mr. Universe champion to millionaire businessman, and discusses his political achievements and the choices he regrets
